Seeing in the New Year! (For Will)

If she was honest, she probably could have stayed at the party a little longer, but she realised early in the evening that she didn't really want to be there. She had fun and she was glad to have seen Thea, but her heart wasn't in it. Her heart was back at Bramford with Will and now she was itching to get back there, back to him, to see in the new year with the person she wanted to spend the next one with.
She looked at her watch again as she reached their building and dashed up the stairs, tapping in the code to open the front door and then heading straight to Will's apartment. She straightened her hair and knocked, bouncing from foot to foot, with the cold and with the determination to get her lips on his before midnight.

It took a long moment for Molly to come down, panting into Wills skin as she slowly withdrew from his mind. She was shaking, fine shivers flowing through her in waves as she struggled to put her defences up again, to isolate her mind from his. Their connection was still there, strong and solid, the echoes of what they'd shared still flowed back and forwards along it and Molly found it reassuring after the intensity of what had come before.
Lifting her head seemed a herculean effort but she made it, sitting back a little and tipping Wills head back gently in both hands to watch him, smiling tiredly. She hadn't realised how much power she'd been putting into their joining until she took stock, only to find her magic burning low inside her. She was exhausted, but intensely happy. Her body was languid and heavy in the best way and she felt safe and secure in the span of his arms, pressed against him, skin flushed and slick with their sweat.
"I'm not sure I can do that often, but I am so, so glad we did." She murmured, leaning down to kiss him, lips slow and hot on his. "I never thought it was going to be like this."

Now that they'd experienced it, he knew they'd want to do it again eventually, but he agreed that it wasn't something they should do every time, or even frequently. It was good, pleasurable and intense the way nothing else in Will's life had ever been (or would ever be), but it was almost too much for their bodies to contain, for their minds to comprehend.
Will moved a hand to cup Molly's jaw, and he kissed her back sweetly, his thumb brushing her cheek. "I didn't know anything could ever feel like that," he told her, agreeing. "It was so... There was so much," he said, again unable to describe it. "You are amazing, Molly. Everything about you." He leaned in to kiss her again, soft and gentle. "And you deserve a rest after tonight," he added, remembering that she'd already used a great deal of magic earlier to protect his dog from the spell that had fallen over the city.

Maybe they would have met and passed eachother by like ships in the night, missing out on all this because life there was so much more complicated. Here they were both free, both able to love without restriction and without consideration of anyone or anything else. Everything else aside, Molly was never going to be anything but grateful to Darrow for this.
"Come to bed with me?" She asked, quietly, wanting nothing more than to have him wrapped around her, to be able to wake up to him in the morning and take a long breakfast together.

Carefully, he helped Molly to stand, allowing her to pull him up as well, and once they were both on their feet, Will shifted to wrap one arm around Molly's back, ducking so he could catch her beneath her knees and lift her into his arms, carrying her bridal style toward the bedroom.
He'd never carried her this way before, hadn't been sure he'd be able to with the similarity of their heights, but her body fit against him easily, her arms going around his neck. Crossing into the bedroom, he took Molly to the bed and sat her on the mattress, leaning down to press a warm kiss to her mouth.
"Do you need anything?" he asked her, reaching to tuck a lock of her hair behind her ear.

Will always surprised her with how strong he was and she loved how it made her feel small and safe with him, something she rarely felt otherwise. He set her on the bed and kissed her and if she was honest, Molly was rapidly approaching sleep when he asked her is she needed anything.
"Water?" She asked, softly, hands on his shoulders. She didn't want to let him go but her limbs were getting heavy so she stroked his cheek and then let him stand. "And then I need you in here with me." She said, yawning a little, hand covering her mouth as she shuffled up to the top of the bed, shoving down the covers and sliding into them.

They moved silently together as they laid down, falling into place easily and without and fidgeting, already used to laying in each other's arms. Will held Molly against his side, her head on his shoulder, and kissed her forehead softly.
"Thank you for tonight," he whispered, his lips against her skin. "Get some rest now, sweetheart."

Her mind drifted over their connection and she didn't have the energy to keep her tiredness out of it. Will could use the extra rest as well as she could. "Sleep well, Will."
