Will could see how insistently sleep was tugging on Molly, and he pressed a kiss to her temple, brushing his hand against her cheek in kind as he stood. "I'll be right back," he told her softly, going to the kitchen for a cool glass of water. Bringing it back to the bedroom, he handed it to Molly, then slipped into bed beside her as she drank, nearly draining the glass. The magic had taken even more out of her than Will had realized, and he made a note to be sure to have water on hand if they did this again.
She handed the water to him with a couple of swallows left and Will finished it off, setting the empty glass on the side table and snapping off the light. They moved silently together as they laid down, falling into place easily and without and fidgeting, already used to laying in each other's arms. Will held Molly against his side, her head on his shoulder, and kissed her forehead softly.
"Thank you for tonight," he whispered, his lips against her skin. "Get some rest now, sweetheart."
